I just read that the national average for gas went down to around 2.40 a gallon. Earlier today we paid 2.38 (cash price) but most of the stations we passed were in the range of 2.50.
How much does gas cost where you are -- today? And compared with last week?

It's looking good on the east coast - I paid $2.09 today, and I saw it for $1.99 and $1.94 yesterday. Last week I paid about $2.20.
Wow -- great that the prices are going down. I hope that we all get to pay those kinds of prices again.
Hi Barbara, Gas today on Southside (Oneont, NY) was $2.419 last week it was $2.499. Who knows? Maybe by the end of the month it will be down to 27 cents. Love to Alan, Eve
Under $3 gas is especially great as we get only 12 - 13 mpg!

In Endicott it's at $2.51 a gallon,gotta love those NY taxes, down by about 20 cents from last week. I've never seen gas prices decrease as fast as they increased!
Saving $15 to $20 when filling up a tank leaves me feeling rich :-)
