Although overcast, the coastal and beach walks near Gualala, CA were beautiful. Had a wonderful time with friends, Nancy and Larry (Alan met Larry on a kibbutz in 1967) -- gracious hosts, funny and fun, well-read and well-traveled, and like most (all?) of our good friends -- highly opinionated and articulate.
