Have been too busy being outdoors and enjoying -- so just catching up on some blogging today. We spent four nights in the US section of Glacier Natl Park and are now in the northern Canadian section, Waterton. Our campsite overlooks a lake and the Rockies...quite beautiful. The campground seems overrun with ground squirrels (and their large holes) as well as herds of deer. We also saw a small group of bighorn sheep running through the camp.
I've taken the day off. Alan and I hiked yesterday and he went out again this morning. My break has been just hanging out, walking to the nearby town, eating lunch and reading by the lake, and now blogging and emailing...until my computer battery needs recharging.
Love hearing from you all via email (BHpuple@aol.com) or directly on the blog.
On to Banff and Lake Louise next and then to Seattle...so let us know if you have any recommendations... or just good memories and anecdotes of those areas!
